WWII Days – Sep. 23 – 25, ’22

A long-time Troop favorite, we’ll be back at WWII Days this year.

Register & pay by 11 pm, Sep. 12

This year we’ll be staying at Blackhawk Field Archers, who gave us such a great opportunity to shoot earlier in the year at the YOLO campout. We’ll do a good turn by helping them with some tasks around the property after dinner on Saturday like building / fixing / painting picnic tables, clearing brush and cutting downed branches.

WWII Days: Midway Village 6799 Guilford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107
We’ll be staying at Blackhawk Field Archers: 10086 Forest Preserve Rd, Rockton, IL 61072

The WWII event runs from 10 – 5 on Sat. Sep. 24. We’ll be eating lunch there, so pack a lunch or bring money for food from a vendor.

Cost: $26 for Scouts, $33 for adults

We’ll meet at the Legion at 6 pm on Friday with Class A uniforms on. Eat dinner before or prepare to grab a gas station dinner.
We’ll return to the Legion on Sunday, leaving ~8 am.
