Automotive Maintenance – Day Trip – Saturday, April 24th

On Saturday, April 24th, we will meet at Woszczak residence at 9:15am. Mr. Woszczak has a disassembled 5.7 liter on an engine stand in his garage where we’ll be able to see how the pistons and crank work as well as the valves and cam. Parents will then need to stick around 20 to 30 minutes to then drive their scouts to Lund Automotive.
We will depart for Lund automotive at 9:40am, arrive at 10:00am. Parents are welcome to stay or else should pickup scouts at noon. Event is limited to 9 scouts. If more scouts are interested, we will look into a second day. If all goes well, Lund Automotive is planning to put 3 cars up on lifts so the scouts can get some hands-on experience.
