More Information
This May, I will be doing my Eagle Project and would like you to save the date and help out.
For my project, I will be fixing up Union Cemetery in Palatine that is managed by my church, Immanuel Lutheran, and St. Paul United Church of Christ, both in Palatine. Specifically, the project involves raising and realigning small gravestones. Attached is a flyer that provides more details about my project.
The project dates are:
1.) Saturday May 21st – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
2.) Sunday May 22nd – 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Since Robert’s Eagle Ceremony is at 4:00 PM on Saturday, I am hoping many of you will be able to come out at the start and stay until early afternoon if possible. On Sunday the 22nd, I hope to see you all as well. Thanks in advance for volunteering! More Info
Robert’s Eagle Court of Honor is Saturday May 21, 2016 at 4pm at the American Legion Post. Everyone in the troop is welcome.

We have now made reservations to stay at Eagle Cabin for this year’s February campout. We will be staying there February 12-14 and hope that everyone can come. We are also looking into canoeing at Eagle Cave for our campout trip in June instead of going to White Pine.
Cub Scout Pack 237 needs our help! They have asked us, Troop 964, if we would like to attend and help out with their upcoming pinewood derby race.
We would be helping weighing in the cars, judging design awards, and running the races. Boys are welcome to bring any of their own pinewood cars to race in the open class, and the event is a good opportunity to earn service hours.
The event will be held at Fall Line Motor Sports at 1225 Busch Parkway, Buffalo Grove. It will occur on Saturday, January 23 and will start at 1:30. We would like to arrive at 1:15. We hope all of you can make it!
Thanks to all the scouts and leaders who came to Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Saturday and Monday morning. Also thanks to all those that participated in the Memorial Day Parade.
