Shotgun Shooting – Part 2 – Saturday, September 19th

On Saturday, September 19th, we will be going Shotgun Shooting at the McHenry Sportsman Club. We will have an NRA instructor helping us with run this event.

Please read the merit badge pamphlet and complete the merit badge worksheet to prepare.

Please look over the merit badge worksheet.

Due to Covid, we will NOT be driving as a troop. Please wear a mask when around other scouts and leaders, and please maintain social distance when possible. Please do not attend in-person troop events if you have been in recent close contact with someone having Covid or if you are feeling ill.

Scout families may make arrangements on their own to carpool.

Meet at the McHenry Sportsman Club at 8:45am.

Meet at the McHenry Sportsman Club on Saturday morning – 8:45am
Verbal Instruction – 9:00am to 10:00am
Shotgun shooting – 10:00am – 12:00pm
Parent pickup from McHenry Sportsman Club – Noon

Parents are welcome to stay for the shooting.

Total Cost: $20 (includes ammo and clays)
